Type Locality

Affluents of Rio Santiago, Jalisco, Mexico.

Range

Pacific slope in states of Jalisco and Michoacan, Mexico.

Habitat

Streams.

Remarks

Hobbs (1942a:341; 1972a:11) erred in citing himself as having designated the type species of Procambarus.
